DEMC hopes to provide fresh information on issues business people face on a day to day basis. What We Are Looking For We are looking for informative articles on business and business-related topics. The best issues to discuss are those you have experience dealing with. Ideally your piece will be sharp, clear and to the point. Attention spans can be short so you need to keep the reader interested. Another suggestion is to write in the first person. For example, tell us about a problem your business faced and how you solved it. You might discuss a successful or not so successful marketing campaign. Or maybe some new direction your Internet business is taking. An article written from the "I" perspective helps you connect with the reader. How Do I Become Published? Submit your article via the form below or email your article as an ASCII text file to - publish@demc2.com . The ideal article size is between 250 and 500 words in length. Be sure to include a brief (5 lines or less) electronic signature consisting of a bio and contact information. We would appreciate your name, title, company and phone number for our records. We'll take it from there. We review every article submitted. Sometimes we ask for a rewrite because the article is more a sales pitch, or is off topic. If necessary we will adjust format, grammar and/or spelling. We may even move things around, adjust the headline, eliminate a paragraph or two and make the piece fit the DEMC style. The editing is similar to if you submitted an article to an off-line magazine.
