After graduating from King's College in Charlotte, NC his first business venture was in the mail-order business. Through the years Mr. Monteith has owned a number of different businesses including several franchises.
Most notably Mr. Monteith was a co-owner of a staffing business for 32 years, placing individuals in full-time, part-time, and temporary employment and professional positions.
He has gained a reputation for leadership and integrity, which he'll now pass on in his DEMC column.
In January 1998, he sold his staffing business with 45 full-time associates to a publicly owned staffing firm. After a short tenure with the new owners it was time to "retire" to
the Internet and NO employees.
Presently, Mr. Monteith operates the web site and newsletter known as Action Tips (www.actiontips.com). This free online resource is directed toward business people,
entrepreneurs, and MLM professionals.
Mr. Monteith has been married for 39 years, has three children, and five grandchildren. His primary goal is to give back to society in thanks for all that he has received. |
