Do you believe in coincidences?

I watched the preview of Kiefer Sutherland's new TV show, Touch,
this week and I have to admit I was pulled into the story line.
Are coincidences in fact a planned sequence of events?

If you missed the show and want to learn more here's the
YouTube trailer link for Touch.

What got me thinking about the Touch show this morning?

Well, earlier this week a SendFree customer asked me an
atypical question -
"How can I add a " Signature " in my email ? "

I wrote back explaining that most email programs offer the
option to input your standard Signature. They will then
include that Signature at the bottom of your email.

I suggested the customer research her email program and
create a Signature for her emails.

Now, here's the coincidence - just 2 days later I came across
a free must have email marketing tool that dynamically creates
signatures for your emails. Of course I had to write back to
the customer to tell her about the tool. And it's so good,
I'm sharing it with you too.

The tool is WiseStamp.

WiseStamp works with practically all email programs. It
allows you to include in your Signature social media
sharing links, quotes, your latest twitter posts and
so much more .

It made creating a cool and effective Signature so easy!

Here's a picture of the Signature I created in less than a minute:

Why start using WiseStamp to create an email signature?

1. Having an email Signature saves you time as there's
no need to write your name and contact at the end of
every email you create. You can include all your contact
info right in the signature.

2. An email signature is also a free advertisement.
You can use it to market your latest offering. Put a
call to action in your Signature to check out the
current product/service you're promoting.

3. When using WiseStamp your email signature can also be
used to promote your social media presence. Encourage
your email recipients to connect with you on Facebook
and Twitter in your signature and you'll build up your
fan and follower base.

If you're looking to build up your followers even further,
I've got another terrific marketing tool to share.

The tool is Buffer.

Buffer allows you to easily and automatically add interesting
content to Twitter and Facebook.

First you install buffer into your browser. Next, you surf
the net. Each time you come across an interesting article,
video, picture, etc. that you think is worthy of being
shared with your followers you click the buffer link in your
browser's toolbar.

Buffer will store that link and distribute it to Facebook
and Twitter at some later point during the day.

Why start using Buffer to post to Twitter and Facebook?

1. Social Media posts have a very short shelf life.

According to bit.ly the half life for how long a Tweet
is relevant and is clicked on is about 2.8 hours. They
report that links posted to Facebook last only an hour
more with a 3.8 hour half life.

To have an effective presence on Twitter and Facebook
you have to post regularly throughout every day.

Buffer stores the links you input and does just that.
It posts those resources throughout the day automatically
using a timed sequence.

2. Studies show users who have better timed posts which
occur frequently increase their link click throughs by
200% as well as double their posts' retweets.

Buffer provides you with tracking on your posts. You can
research the effectiveness of your posts. Test and figure
out the best time of day to post and what subjects pull
the most.

3. Buffer nags you.

If Buffer finds you're running low on posts, they'll email
you and let you know you need to re-fill your buffer queue.
What's better than a nag to keep you on top of your
social media promotions!

Before you know it Buffer will have you posting regularly
to your Facebook and Twitter accounts!

Use Wisestamp and Buffer and you'll build both your social
media following and your email list.

Have Fun!
