Prosperity, Purpose & Passion

You can choose to live a life without limits, in all areas, right now!

Your mind drives your actions and if you're disappointed with ANY area of your life (business, finances, spirituality, relationships, etc.), it's time to de-program your limiting beliefs. These beliefs are usually driven by fear--the main component that holds anyone back from achieving ANYTHING. What is F-E-A-R? False Expectation Appearing Real. If you think and risk BIG, in spite of fear, you'll achieve BIG!

Let's take business for example. You're either in free enterprise, or you work for someone who is. Most people fall into the second group because of programming at a very young age. The message was to get a good education to land a good job to pay the bills, have health benefits and take two to three weeks of vacation. Seems safe and secure right? The educational system keeps perpetuating this as well and, unfortunately, something's lacking with that system (and I never saw a class called Entrepreneur 101). Look at the evidence today:

> most families have an average household income of less than 50K;
> most families are in debt up to their eyeballs; and
> most families live well beyond their means.

So it seems that education is great if you want to learn how to be a great employee; you'll learn how to trade time for dollars and rely on supposed "job security." However, if you've been employed at any great length, you've probably been through a few things that have revealed that being an employee isn't always secure:

> have you been laid off?
> have you suffered cutbacks in pay and/or benefits?
> have you been asked to perform at a higher level without being compensated?
> have you been promised one thing while being delivered another?

No? Well you're one of the lucky ones (so far). So then let's assume that you've got a cushy, well-appointed title and you already make at least six figures. At what cost?

> what's your commute like?
> how many hours do you invest for your salary?
> what percentage of this time involves travel?
> are your kids being raised by someone else?

You get the idea. It's obvious that there are limitations and costs and, let's not forget, it's called the "rat race" for a reason.

So let's flip the coin over to the opposite side of security: freedom. You can rarely have security and freedom in the same scenario. For example: prison is one of the most secure environments; however, being a resident there means you give up all your freedom. A job is very similar: as long as your an employee, you're bound by the terms and limitations of your employment contract. So how do you achieve freedom if you don't already have it? Start thinking differently.

"Our current problems will not be solved by the same thinking that created them."

- Einstein -

A lot of people dream of freedom: financial freedom, having no boss, no commute, more time with family, etc. However, a small percentage of these people actually turn those dreams into reality. That same group of people also contains the biggest percentage of business owners.

They're also the biggest thinkers, biggest earners and biggest risk-takers. They're not any different than you; they simply made a choice, or many choices, to make some changes. Sorry the answer's not more profound, but the application of this knowledge may take a lifetime.

So start now. Educate yourself on ways to pursue freedom. For me and my wife Diane, we are constantly re-programming our minds with knowledge that moves us toward our goals. We also surround ourselves with positive people who encourage us in the pursuit of our goals. For us, more time + more money = FREEDOM! Our loose definition of financial freedom is when the income from our assets surpasses the costs to maintain them. There are a lot of ways to make a million bucks out there, smart and proven ways, the keys are:

1. leverage (getting your money to work for you, instead of working for your money)
2. a proven system (don't reinvent the wheel)
3. follow others who have gone before you and are successful at 1. and 2. (be coachable)

If you're already a successful business owner and these principles are already in your arsenal, great! You're well on your way to freedom. If you're sick and tired of being sick and tired, then it's time to start thinking differently. Choose your environment and choose success. It may be uncomfortable and it may take some effort, or I guess you could just stay in your "comfort zone."

"Do you truly feel that you deserve wealth? What is your ability to act in spite of fear, in spite of worry,
in spite of inconvenience, in spite of discomfort? Can you act when you're not in the mood? The fact is that your character, your thinking, and your beliefs are a critical part of what determines the level of your success. Your income can grow only to the extent you do!"
