Denise Ryder is publisher of ProfitSpace Newsletter, Moderator
for Around The Water Cooler a business discussion group and is
Affiliate Manager for an autoresponder service and a web hosting
Company. If that doesn't keep her busy enough she is also a
marketing consultant where her niche is home and small business
owners and she is also a contributor to DEMC E-Magazine. Denise's entrepreneurial spirit can be credited to her mother
who owned a small store in rural Ontario (Canada), in which
Denise worked after school and during the summer break. Even
at that early age she knew that she was going to own her own
business some day, just didn't know what it was going to be.
A change in direction took Denise to the Canadian Air Force
where she spent 14 years, completed her degree in Marketing and
retired as a Sergeant. Shortly thereafter she and a business partner
started Micro Grafix Corporation, focusing on graphic design and
publishing magazines, including their own Home Business Guide
and Business Owner's Network Magazine.
Over the past decade Denise has been called upon by Government
Agencies, Educational Institutions, Non-Profit Organizations and
Corporations to present workshops and seminars on a wide variety
of marketing topics. Her passion rests in marketing and providing
marketing tactics and strategies for the home and small business
industries.
She hasn't looked back and when asked what words of advice
she has for fellow home and small business owners today?
"Break out of that Bubble from time to time and take in a seminar,
workshop and network with other like-minded people. It helps clear
the mind and helps you stay focused. AND DON'T GIVE UP...I have
seen many, many people throw in the towel only to realize that they
were this -- close in seeing success. Be persistent and consistent
with your marketing."
