Manager at Studio Moderna, managing their corporate and brand internet marketing operations. Studio Moderna is the leading direct marketing company and network in Central and Eastern Europe, present in
19 European countries.
Rok has spent much of 2003 and 2004 researching and testing RSS (especially for the purposes of direct marketing, improving customer relationships and increasing sales),
first doubting that RSS is a serious contender in the internet marketing world, but then embracing this content delivery channel as one of the key internet marketing development factors of the future.
In his previos position, before Studio Moderna, Rok was managing the internet department of the business daily Finance (Finance-on.net), the first Slovenian daily business newspaper, turning it in to the
leading internet media ad property in Slovenia in terms of gross sales as well as profits.
The Finance-on.net web site was one of the first in the world to provide RSS feed customization to its
visitors and was also one of the first with the capability of tracking how their users are consuming their RSS feeds .
Before his time at Finance, Rok was working as an internet marketing consultant,
consulting companies such as Iskratel, a global telecommunications solution provider for telecom companies.
In addition to his corporate experience, Rok also has a strong small-business
entrepreneurial background, having spent much of his time working with small companies running on shoe-string budgets, helping them get the most out of internet marketing (one of his clients, Donos d.o.o. ( http://www.donos.net ) increased their revenues for more than 300% only 6 months after implementing Rok's internet marketing strategy) and co-founded a personal asset consulting company.
His entrepreneurial internet marketing experience also includes publishing an e-book bestseller with Joe »Mr. Fire« Vitale, »The Millionaire Mindset«, by Boris Vene and Nikola Grubisa, and then also
their next bestseller, »The Enlightened Salesperson«.
In Slovenia, he pioneered the concept of e-books and created top Slovenian e-book bestsellers (among those Seth Godin's »Unleashing the
Ideavirus«, which Rok published for the Finance business daily), exceeding even the sales of their competing print editions.
During all this time Rok also became a well-known Slovenian author and
speaker, having published more than 250 internet marketing articles and spoken at more than 30 marketing events .
